Hoping to get some help please! We have around 120 devices connected to Appspace at our workplace. At any given time, around 20% of the devices are either:Out of sync - lost communicationOut of sync - offlineOut of sync - onlineIn sync - lost communication Question 1 - What do all these different scenarios mean?Question 2 - How can it be fixed?Question 3 - Can any of the fixes occur remotely or does manual intervention need to occur at the device?Question 4 - Why do the devices go offline and is there a way to prevent this from occurring?Question 5 - Is there a way to be alerted that a device is offline if it hasn’t fixed itself after 48 hours? I don’t want the alrerts to be so frequent and annoying that the people who need to fix them feel overwhelmed.

I am trying to create an API Token, and I am following the instructions in the Knowledge Base, but when I get to the part where it says to Enable API Key, I do not see that section in my interface.

Hello,  I’ve recently been placed into the AppSpace administration role and was not given much of an overview or any type of documentation.  Is this an offcial administration guide for this product?  Right now I need to help a new user get an account provisioned and a new Brightsign configured.  Please let me know the best documents to assist me with this task. 

Is it possible to set the duration for “all day”? Example - an employee who forgets their ID badge checks in as a drop in guest. The duration they select only goes to 6 hrs. That employee tried to check out when they left for the day (beyond the six hours) and got an error message. Can they check out after their duration ends?

Problem Appspace-managed resource reservations (such as desks, lockers, or parking spaces) are visible within the Appspace Employee View but do not sync or appear on the user's Microsoft Outlook calendar.Symptoms The user can see their reservation successfully within the Appspace Employee View dashboard. The reservation is completely missing from the user's primary Outlook calendar. Attendees invited to the resource do not see the booking on their calendars. The user cannot distinguish whether they have booked a native Microsoft provider resource or an Appspace-managed resource.  Root Cause By default, only reservations created for Microsoft 365 native resources sync to Outlook. Appspace-managed resources require a specific bridge to communicate with the Microsoft ecosystem. We would like to publish a live feed one of our dashboards we use from Google Data StudioWe are trying to use WebView with Authentication but we are unable to get it working. If you’ve had a reservation cancelled and you are not sure why, check out the event action logs within analytics! From the Dashboard, under Admin, click on Analytics. Then select the Reports tab. You’ll then hit Create and scroll down to the Events Action Log option. You can customize the report generated by date, location, user, and action type that you are looking for. Most frequently, cancellations that are unexpected will be associated with the event action type of “ResourceDeclinedDueToConflict”. Often people may book meetings via Outlook, but the room may have some additional constraints in Appspace that create a conflict. Reviewing this report can give helpful information to see why something may have been cancelled and to track changes.  

When I first started building AI assistants in Appspace, my instinct was to load it up with every tool I could think of on Day 1. Search this, fetch that, summarise the other. The thinking was, give it everything and it'll be brilliant.It wasn't. It got slower, the tool selection got fuzzier, and half the tools I'd carefully built barely got called.The hack: ship your assistant with one tool. The most obvious, highest-value one. Nothing else.Then build an AI Usage dashboard for your assistant, a week later and look at what people actually asked. That tells you tool #2. Watch it for another week, that tells you tool #3.You end up with an assistant that's faster, sharper, and built around what your users genuinely need, not what you guessed they'd need on Day 1.Bonus: tool descriptions matter more than you think. Digital signage devices are often purpose-built with embedded hardware (System on Chip). That means there's no way to upgrade the hardware to get more bang for your buck, so optimizing your content is where the wins are.Reducing the bitrate of content can both preserve the image quality in the video and reduce the overall file size. This is great for Progressive Web App, (PWA) devices, and devices that do not cache content and only stream. By managing the bitrate you can reduce your overall bandwidth consumption on those devices.For the purpose of this exercise I will be targeting a 1920x1080 video at 30fps. Afterwards I will do the same with a 3840x1080 (Landscape, dual 1080p screen) video at 30fps for Video Wall applications. Lastly I’ll perform the same calculations for standard 4K, 3840x2160.
