Appspace Certified devices have been fully validated by the Appspace Development and Quality Assurance teams. They are tested in Appspace QA labs against defined certification criteria, undergo full regression and compatibility testing with each Appspace release, and receive official Appspace support for certified functionality.
Appspace App Built-In devices are hardware products from Appspace's partners that come with the Appspace App pre-integrated directly into their firmware. These are typically workplace collaboration devices — such as video conferencing systems, room scheduling panels, and wireless presentation hubs — where Appspace functionality is available out of the box alongside the device's primary purpose.
Because Appspace is a secondary function on these devices, supported features may be more limited than on a dedicated Appspace device. Typical use cases include:
- Wallpaper or signage displays on idle room conferencing devices
- Wallpaper or signage displays via Appspace Lite on the vendor's device management portal
- Room scheduling with Appspace cards on purpose-built scheduling panels or smart signboards
For certification level details, see the Supported Devices Overview.
Important
- Appspace can only assure compatibility for the OS and firmware versions it actively tests, as listed on this page.
- Reference models are device models tested in the Appspace product engineering lab. Devices with similar specifications may also be compatible, but we recommend working with a systems integrator or Appspace reseller to confirm suitability. Contact us if you need help finding a partner.
- To ensure optimal performance, security, and compatibility with Appspace's latest features, review the Appspace Device App Version Support Policy.
- For end-of-life information, see the Appspace Device End of Life (EOL) Policy and Lifecycle.
- For a list of devices supported by a specific app version, see Supported App Versions.
