Appspace Device End of Life (EOL) Policy and Lifecycle

Appspace employs an End of Life (EOL) policy to ensure a secure, high-performing, and compatible platform for all users. This policy establishes a structured support lifecycle for all certified hardware. To help customers proactively plan for hardware upgrades, devices that have reached EOL will remain listed on this page for an additional three years past their official end-of-support date.

Note:
Devices that have reached EOL will no longer receive updates, security patches, or technical support. Adherence to this lifecycle is crucial for effective device management, ensuring your Appspace deployment maintains optimal security, reliable performance, and platform compatibility with the latest software features.

Definition of End of Life (EOL)

End of Life (EOL) for an Appspace-supported device means that the hardware is no longer eligible for:

  • Software updates

  • Security patches

  • Technical support from Appspace

Current End of Life Devices

These devices have officially reached EOL status and should be replaced immediately.

Note

This article only lists devices that have reached EOL status for three years.

Rationale

This policy allows Appspace to ensure platform reliability, performance consistency, and security compliance. Supporting older hardware can introduce instability and prevent us from delivering new, critical features and capabilities.

Guidance for Administrators

When a device reaches EOL status, administrators must take the following actions to ensure a fully supported and secure Appspace environment:

  • Replace or Upgrade: Immediately replace the EOL device with a newer, currently supported model.

  • Remove from Production: Remove all unsupported devices from your active production environment.

  • Verify Compatibility: Always check the Appspace Device Compatibility List before purchasing any new hardware.
