| Centralized File Manager | A new section, “Document Libraries,” has been added to the Spaces module in the admin console. It aggregates all files from across spaces into a single, searchable interface. |
| Link Configuration | A Custom Link Behavior section has been added to Admin Console > Settings > Configuration > Employee Experience > Settings. This rule-based engine provides administrators with full control over how URLs are handled across the organization. |
Employee Communications
| Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Content Acknowledgement | Appspace introduces a “Read and Acknowledge” option for authors when publishing Pages and Stories. When enabled, content is presented with a requirement for users to formally acknowledge that it has been read, providing a reliable confirmation and a clear audit trail for critical communications. |
| Newsletter Publish to Spaces | Appspace enables content creators to publish newsletters directly to Communities and Channels. Members and followers are automatically notified via email, and the newsletter is displayed in the relevant feeds. |
Digital Signage
| Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Support English Language Deselection In Translation Languages Settings
Technical Info: | Appspace updates the Translation Languages configuration at the location level to allow administrators to deselect English when a different primary language is required when selecting the language for the devices. Administrators are able to manage translation language selections more flexibly based on their environment needs.
|
| BrightSign Custom Plugin Management System Task Templates
Technical Info: | Appspace adds the following BrightSign custom plugin management task templates as System templates:
|
| AI Image Generation in Card Editor | An improvement has been made with the addition of the “Generate AI Media” button within the Image Element tab. Clicking this button opens a dedicated AI prompt modal where administrators can describe the image they need. |
| Text Elements' Font Size According To Design Specifications | An improvement has been made to ensure that font sizes for text elements, such as Headline 1 and Headline 2, adhere to design specifications. |
| Google Sheets Passport | The Google Drive passport now supports connecting and displaying data from Google Sheets. The passport configuration has been streamlined to support both Google Sheets and Google Slides within a single connection, reducing the need for multiple credentials. |
| Placeholder Image Display for When an Uploaded Image is Processing on Card Editor | A placeholder image is now displayed when uploading or reuploading a file from the local system to indicate that the image is processing. |
Space Reservation
| Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Send Checkpoint Notifications for Provider and Plugin Bookings | Appspace Reservations enhances the checkpoint notification flow to ensure reminder notifications are sent for reservations created via providers and the Outlook plug in. Notifications are triggered for reservations created both before and within the checkpoint window. This enhancement applies to consent or form type checkpoints and service checkpoints. |
| Deep Linking for Space Reservation | Appspace Reservations introduces URL-based navigation for Space Reservation, enabling direct linking to specific reservation pages. Users can navigate to the Employee App under the Places module using a URL with associated parameters. Deep link parameters are now supported for the Workspaces, Building Pass, and At the Office tabs, allowing workspace lists to be rendered with the appropriate filters applied without requiring a manual refresh. |
| Formatting in Concierge Comments | A new feature introduces basic rich text formatting options in Concierge Comments, allowing users to better structure and highlight important information. A toolbar is added to the comment input box with options such as bold, italic, bullet list, numbered list, and hyperlink. The comment input box is also updated with a default minimized state and no visible buttons. A Cancel button is added next to the Send button, and the Send button is disabled when the comment box is empty. Selecting Cancel returns the input box to its minimized state. |
| Canceled and Deleted Reservations | Appspace Reservations ensures that all reservation data, including comments, remains available for canceled and deleted reservations. Authorized users can access the complete comment history, with the reservation state clearly labeled to maintain transparency and a comprehensive communication record for operational and reporting needs. A new global reservation setting allows administrators to define the retention period for deleted reservations. Once a reservation exceeds the specified retention period, the record is purged. Canceled reservations are now visible in the Employee App View, and deleted reservations are now accessible in the Employee Console view. |
Visitor Management
| Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Visitor Management Module | This release expands Visitor Management extensibility with new API endpoints for secure third-party identity processing and flexible visitor journey customization. |
