Manage Insights Dashboards

Manage Insights dashboards in Appspace to find, filter, edit, import, add to favorites, export, copy links, or delete existing dashboards. The available dashboards, data, filters, and management actions depend on the dashboard configuration and access available to the signed-in user.

This article outlines how to find, filter, edit, import, and manage existing Insights dashboards in Appspace.

Prerequisites

• Access to Insights in the Appspace console.

Find and View a Dashboard

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Enter the dashboard name in the Search field, if required.
5. Click the required dashboard.

The dashboard opens and displays its available data and visualizations.

Filter Dashboard Data

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Click the required dashboard.
5. Click Filters. In the Filters panel, select from the available options:
   • Date
   • Location
   • Audience
   • User
   • Department
6. Click View. The dashboard refreshes based on the selected filters.
7. Click Clear all to remove the selected filters, if required.

Import a Dashboard

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Click the arrow next to + Add.
5. Click Import.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the dashboard import.

Edit a Dashboard

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Open the required dashboard.
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯).
6. Click Edit.
7. Make the required changes.
8. Click Save to save the dashboard configuration.

Manage Dashboard Actions

Open the required dashboard and click the ellipsis (⋯) to access the available dashboard actions.

Add a Widget

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Open the required dashboard.
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯).
6. Click Add Widget.
7. In the Add Widget dialog, select the collection where the widget will be added.
8. Click Add Widget.

Add a Dashboard to Favorites

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Open the required dashboard.
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯).
6. Click Favorite.

Export a Dashboard

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Open the required dashboard.
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯).
6. Click Export.

Copy a Dashboard Link

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Open the required dashboard.
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯).
6. Click Copy link.

The dashboard link is copied and can be shared with users who have access to the dashboard.

Delete a Dashboard

1. Log in to the Appspace console.
2. Click the ☰ Appspace menu.
3. Click Insights under Admin.
4. Open the required dashboard.
5. Click the ellipsis (⋯).
6. Click Delete.
