(New) A complete list of HRIS widget platforms in Appspace, including supported data and exclusions. This article is for IT administrators who plan a Limited Release HRIS widget deployment. After you read it, you can confirm which HR system and modules your tenant needs before you configure the widget.

For: IT Administrators — HRIS Widget Coverage

Important: The HRIS widget is in limited release. Appspace certifies each customer tenant before wider rollout. This article lists only Limited Release platforms. Do not treat other HR systems as supported until they appear in the table below.

Limited Release Platforms

The widget is available on the Intranet homepage. Access is read-only. Each certified HR system shows time off. Some also show recent payslips.

Platform Time off Payroll Release
UKG Pro Yes Recent payslips 2602.3.1
SAP SuccessFactors Yes Recent payslips 2603.1.0
BambooHR Yes Not available. Payroll is not shown. 2603.2.0
Workday Yes Recent payslips 2603.2.0

Required Modules

Each HR system needs HCM with API access and Appspace Intranet on a current plan (Public Cloud or Private Cloud). Absence Management is required for time off. Payroll is required for payslips, except on BambooHR, which does not provide payroll data to the widget.

Platform Time off module Payroll module
UKG Pro Absence Management Payroll
SAP SuccessFactors Absence Management Payroll
BambooHR Absence Management Not applicable
Workday Absence Management Payroll

Note: Time off can show available, scheduled, pending, and used balances when the HR system provides those values. Payslip availability depends on the HR system and the employee record. The console places the widget on homepage themes only, not on community, topic, or channel feeds.

How Data Is Read

The widget reads through Merge. Data flows from the Intranet homepage to the widget, then to a Merge API microservice, Merge.dev, and the HR system. Reads are scoped to the signed-in employee by email address. The widget reports usage into the Intranet console analytics dashboard.

Notes

  • The HRIS Widget does not provide an offline mode. After a tab is opened, its data may be retained in the current browser session for up to 15 minutes before it is refreshed. The widget loads the active tab first and retrieves data for each additional tab when you open it.
  • Employees complete time off requests and approvals in the HR system, not in the widget. The console widget does not include a control that opens the HR system.

Important: The refresh interval is subject to change prior to release. Verify with engineering before publishing a specific cadence.
