Hello team,

Can someone confirm - Is there any time limit, we have to wait untill the device shows under device section? I added the device via MTR Pro portal. It shows straight under channels > publish > assign devices. But the same device not showing direct device section where all devices are listed. Also, is Out of Sync status is normal for MTR devices or are there any firewalls barrier which is limiting devices to shake hands?

Hi Amit,

1. Device not appearing in the Devices list

It’s normal for there to be a short delay after registration. The device may appear in Channels → Publish → Assign Devices before it shows in the main Devices list. In some cases, you may need to:

  • Wait a short time for the registration to fully sync.
  • Reboot the device after registration.
  • Confirm the device has internet access and can reach Appspace URLs.

If a significant amount of time has passed and you’ve tried the above please log a support ticket for the team to review.

2. “Out of Sync” status

Yes — this is normal. It simply means the device hasn’t finished downloading and confirming the latest content from the channel yet. he status can fluctuate whenever content updates or the device begins a new sync cycle.

Many Thanks

Fiona
