Does anyone expereince issues when adding library folders to channels?

I'm having issues adding content to a Channel. I am uploading content to the Appspace Library in the a folder - inside the folder a hit the + symbol in the top right corner to 'Add to channel' but no content shows up in the channel. The idea is that the channel will display whatever is inside the associated Library folder. I think Appspace is caching on me because if I wait 5-10 minutes the Library folder content shows up in the Channel. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue?
