Configure the My Links widget in Appspace to allow employees to access and manage personal links from their user profiles.
Administrators can configure the widget from the User Profile settings in Employee Experience, change its position in the profile sidebar, edit the widget title, or remove the widget.
Prerequisites
- Account Owner permissions are required to configure User Profile settings.
- Access to Employee Experience configuration in the Appspace console.
Configure the My Links Widget
Follow the instructions below to configure the My Links widget:
- Log in to the Appspace console.
- Click the ☰ Appspace menu, and then click Settings.
- Click Configuration.
- Click the Employee Experience tab.
- In the left navigation, click User Profile.
- In the Profile Sidebar section, click Configure.
The Configure Profile page is displayed.
- In the User Profiles panel, locate My Links Widget.
- Drag My Links Widget to the required position in the profile sidebar.
- Click the ••• ellipsis for My Links Widget, and then select one of the following options:
- Edit — Edit the widget configuration.
- Remove — Remove the My Links Widget from the profile sidebar.
- If Edit is selected, update the Widget Title field as required.
The default widget title is My Links.
- Click Apply.
The updated My Links widget configuration is applied to the user profile.
Note: Employees can view and manage only their own personal links in the My Links widget.
Manage the My Links Widget
The position and configuration of the My Links widget can be updated from the Configure Profile page.
- Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Employee Experience > User Profile.
- In the Profile Sidebar section, click Configure.
- Locate My Links Widget in the User Profiles panel.
- Perform one of the following actions:
- Drag My Links Widget to change its position in the profile sidebar.
- Click the ••• ellipsis, and then select Edit to modify the widget configuration.
- Click the ••• ellipsis, and then select Remove to remove the widget from the profile sidebar.
- If Edit is selected, update the Widget Title field as required.
- Click Apply.
