Appspace integrates with Microsoft Teams to provide employees with access to company communications, workplace services, and notifications directly within Microsoft Teams.
Depending on how Appspace and Microsoft Teams have been configured by your organization, you can use Microsoft Teams to access the Appspace Employee App, view Appspace content published to Microsoft Teams, receive supported Appspace notifications, and use other Appspace features available through Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams Integration Options
Appspace supports several separate Microsoft Teams integration experiences:

Appspace Employee View – Opens the Appspace Employee View directly within Microsoft Teams.

Content publishing – Publishes Appspace communications to Microsoft Teams channels and chats.

Enterprise messaging notifications – Delivers supported Appspace notifications through Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Copilot for Appspace – Allows employees to use Microsoft Copilot with information available through Appspace.
Your organization may enable one or more of these options. Availability depends on the Microsoft Teams and Appspace configuration set by your administrators.
Access the Appspace Employee View in Microsoft Teams
Your organization can make the Appspace Employee View available directly within Microsoft Teams.
When Appspace is available, you can open the Appspace View from Microsoft Teams and sign in to access the Employee View experience. Depending on your organization's configuration, this may include company news and communications, workplace reservations, maps, employee services, connected applications, and other Appspace features.
The features available to you depend on the Appspace Employee View configuration set by your organization.

View Appspace Content Published to Microsoft Teams
Appspace content can also be published directly to Microsoft Teams channels and chats.
This allows employees to receive company communications in Microsoft Teams without having to open the Appspace Employee View first. Depending on how the content is published, the Microsoft Teams post may display the content directly or provide a link to view the complete content in Appspace.
This publishing workflow is separate from accessing the Appspace Employee View within Microsoft Teams.

Receive Appspace Notifications in Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams can also be configured as an enterprise messaging notification channel for Appspace.
Depending on your organization's configuration, Appspace may send Microsoft Teams notifications for supported services such as reservations, visitors, and broadcasts.
For example, employees may receive notifications when a reservation is created or changed, when a visitor checks in, or when an organization sends an important broadcast.
The notifications you receive depend on the Appspace features and notification channels configured by your administrator.

Use Microsoft Copilot with Appspace
If Microsoft Copilot for Appspace has been enabled for your organization, you can use Copilot from Microsoft Teams to find and work with information available through Appspace.
Before using Copilot with Appspace, ensure that you can access and sign in to the Appspace app in Microsoft Teams.
