Does anyone know if Appspace can stream from HDHomeRun Flex Quatro 4x DVB-T/T2/C 4-tuner network device to digital signs? 

 

Has anyone streamed TV channels with Appspace?

​@tsaucedo thanks for raising this one. We had to do a little digging to confirm how the HDHomeRun Flex Quatro delivers its video streams.

Based on the information we were able to find, it does not appear to be directly compatible with Appspace. Appspace can stream live video using supported streaming formats such as HLS or multicast, depending on the playback device. The HDHomeRun appears to distribute its broadcast feeds using an MPEG transport stream (.ts) rather than one of those supported formats.

So while live video streaming is supported in Appspace, this particular device does not appear to provide its stream in a format Appspace can use directly.

Sorry we don't have better news on this one. We'd welcome hearing from any customers who have used an alternate solution with these devices and can share what has worked for them.
