Schedule Board - Group Calendar Visibility

Hello!

In utilizing the Schedule Board Integration with Microsoft Office 365, I’m currently only able to show the schedule for specific Conference Rooms. Wondering if there’s a way to use this feature to display a specific Calendar’s events instead?

Look forward to receiving feedback/support regarding this topic.

Hi @JillRC,

Great question! The Schedule Board card actually has a Custom Calendar Provider option that lets you connect to your own calendar provider beyond just Office 365 room resources.

To set this up, you'd configure it with your calendar provider's URL and API key. The HTTP headers are optional unless there's an authentication mismatch.

This means you can display events from a specific calendar rather than being limited to just conference room schedules. The setup is pretty straightforward - you just need the calendar provider details and API access.

Hi @JillRC,

After connecting with your colleague and one of our Solutions Engineers, unfortunately, there is no way of doing this.

Because the department calendar is not a room resource, our passport cannot access the calendar details via our out-of-the-box cards. This would currently require a feature request.

If you would like to explore alternative options via a custom card, a scoping call with one of our Solutions Engineers would be a great next step.

Best regards,
