How to Create card for company directory

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Looking at Cards to use I did not see a template to create a Company or employee directory without Google sheets required.

Is there a better or other option?

@tsaucedo from what I’ve found, you can maintain a searchable employee directory directly in Appspace without using Google Sheets.

One option is to use the native People Directory:

  1. Go to Users → Settings → People Directory and select Native as the provider.

  2. Add and manage employees in User Profiles, including details such as department, job title, and manager.

Your team can then search for colleagues in the People section and open their profiles for more information. Profiles need to be set to Public, as private profiles won’t appear in the People list or search results.

If you’re managing employees specifically for Visitor Registration, another option is to add them under Buildings → Employees, either individually or through a CSV import.

I’ve also asked my colleagues whether they have any other creative suggestions, and I’ll share any ideas they come back with.

This would be for a digital sign in Lobby that is non-interactive so searchable option would not be helpful.  I hoping to create a card with building directory displaying offices and location (floor, number) and possibly certain people offices.

With other CMS I’ve used .CSV that is read and updated real-time.

@tsaucedo currently, there isn’t a standard card that combines building, floor, and office information with named occupants without maintaining an external data source.

People Directory displays employee information such as manager, title, and department, but doesn’t natively associate employees with specific offices or rooms. Schedule Board supports floor plans, resources, reservations, and wayfinding, but doesn’t include a native employee-to-office relationship.

For a largely static directory, configuring offices as non-reservable resources and manually adding occupant names to their labels or details may be an option, subject to validation in your Schedule Board version.

Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to discuss a possible custom solution for your directory and wayfinding needs.

The ‘Table’ card is designed to display information from a remote CSV file.

I don’t know if it’ll be the prettiest option, but it should be able to display your data, and allow you to remotely update it without interfacing with Appspace.
