I have a custom RSS ticker on an advanced channel. Somehow, someway, my custom URL that is hosted by us, is still the same but the text displaying is NOT ours. I have no clue how to fix this? Or even figure where the text is coming from?

@jelewisyella

Glad you were able to get it working! Thanks for coming back and sharing the solution.

Recreating the RSS widget can resolve issues where the widget appears to cache or retain unexpected feed data, even when the RSS URL itself hasn't changed.

If anyone else encounters this behavior, here are a few things to check:

  • Verify the RSS URL is returning the expected XML by opening it directly in a browser.
  • Clear any caching on the web server or CDN hosting the feed, if applicable.
  • If the feed looks correct but Appspace is displaying different content, recreating the RSS widget (as @jelewisyella discovered) is a good next troubleshooting step.

Thanks for following up with the solution—it may save someone else some troubleshooting time!
