Reminder: Web View Card v1.9 Deprecation — What You Need to Know

What's Happening?

Web View Card versions 1.9 and below will be deprecated on September 30, 2025. As part of ongoing platform maintenance, we are phasing out older Web View Card versions in favor of newer releases that offer a more stable and optimized experience. This isn't a change to how the card works — it's the same Web View Card, just streamlined around the latest versions. On the deprecation date, the endpoint supporting these older versions will be permanently shut down. Any instances of the deprecated card, whether actively published or saved in your content library, will be automatically removed. We recommend updating to version 1.10 or above ahead of this date to avoid any disruption.

What Do I Need to Do?

Replace older Web View cards in your published channels with the latest version. It's as simple as creating a new card with the current version and adding it to your channel in place of the old one.

Not sure which version you're running? You can check by opening the card, but you can also identify the version from your content library in list view — it's displayed under the type column.

What Happens if I Don't?

Once deprecated, older card versions will disappear from your tenant entirely. Any channels still using v1.9 or below will lose that content without warning.
