Certain Qbic docking devices, such as the Qbic TDD-1000 BookBuddy Connect, support an authenticated desk booking experience with the Appspace Desktop Application for Mac and Windows.

When an employee who is signed in to the Appspace Desktop Application connects their computer to the Qbic TDD-1000 BookBuddy Connect, Appspace automatically reserves the desk resource associated with the dock. When the employee disconnects their computer, the corresponding reservation automatically ends and the desk becomes available for another employee.

The integration between Appspace and supported Qbic docking devices helps streamline hybrid workplace reservations by combining desk booking with the dock’s connection and disconnection workflow.

This article provides administrators with instructions for installing and using the Appspace Desktop App to automatically reserve desks using the Qbic TDD-1000 BookBuddy Connect.
