New Features & Improvements
| App Features | Description | Affects |
|---|---|---|
| Application-Wide Custom Font Support (BrightSign) Technical Info: | Custom fonts on BrightSign devices now apply consistently across all content types, ensuring uniform typography application-wide. Because certain font file types can prevent BrightSign hardware from starting up correctly, custom fonts are no longer auto-installed. Administrators must now explicitly permit supported font types using a new device property:
To enable application-wide custom fonts, the following conditions must be met:
| HLS Streaming on Crestron Devices | HLS video streams on Crestron devices now render at the display’s full physical resolution, including 4K (3840×2160). |
| Improved Rollback Status Messaging (BrightSign) | The on-device message displayed when a BrightSign device is in a state where rollback is unavailable has been improved to provide clearer information about why rollback cannot be performed. |
