Release Platform: All
| Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Amazon Signage Device Type Support | Appspace now supports “Amazon Signage” as a recognized device type across the platform. This enhancement enables users to manage and identify Amazon Signage devices within device listings, overviews, reports, task templates, and licensing workflows. Key Enhancements:
|
| BrightSign Application Update Management | Important This feature requires Appspace platform version 8.12.0-ac.1 or higher and Appspace App version 2.92.0 or newer. Access is available as a Limited Release; please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request participation. Administrators can now manage BrightSign application updates with enhanced flexibility and control. Key Enhancements:
|
| iOS Full-Screen Display Enhancement | The Appspace App for iOS now delivers a true full-screen experience on both iPhone and iPad devices. This update addresses previous issues where black borders appeared on the sides of the screen and ensures the app accurately detects the device viewport. The implementation of native iOS Storyboards for the splash screen eliminates black borders, prevents the Cordova logo from briefly displaying during launch, and corrects splash screen orientation in landscape mode on iPhones. Key Enhancements:
|
| Advanced Channel Playback Sequence Stability | Advanced Channels now maintain the correct playback sequence after any channel update. Previously, updates to a channel would reset the layout sequence, causing devices to return to the first layout after completing the current one. With this improvement, devices continue displaying the next layout in the queue following a channel update, ensuring scheduled content plays in the expected order without interruption. Key Enhancements:

Maintenance Releases

-
AE-13115 - Legacy web view cards on Samsung Tizen TVs display a white screen with the text "false" instead of rendering HTML snippets due to a malformed URI when requesting HTML content.
-
AE-13282 - Windows devices in the Device Listing display "Default String" instead of the actual serial number due to invalid serial number values being accepted and saved by the Electron driver.
