Content can accumulate quickly throughout the year. Old campaigns, expired announcements, duplicate files, and outdated links can make it harder for publishers to find what they need and for employees to trust what they see.
A focused year-end content review can help you begin the new year with a cleaner, more useful Appspace environment.
Start with high-impact content
You do not need to review everything at once. Begin with the content employees see most often or depend on for important information:
- Homepage and featured content
- Frequently used pages, channels, and playlists
- Policies, workplace guidance, and support information
- Recurring campaigns and seasonal content
- Quick links and downloadable resources
Use a simple keep, update, or retire review
| Decision | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Keep | The content is accurate, useful, current, and has a clear owner. |
| Update | The content is still valuable but contains outdated language, links, dates, or visuals. |
| Retire | The content has expired, duplicates another resource, or no longer supports an employee need. |
Prevent clutter from returning
Assign an owner to important content and include a review or expiration date whenever possible. Use consistent titles and naming conventions so publishers can identify content without opening every item.
Before removing anything, confirm that it is no longer being used in an active channel, page, campaign, or workflow. Your organization’s retention requirements may also determine whether content should be archived or removed.
Quick challenge: Choose one high-traffic area in Appspace and complete a 15-minute keep, update, or retire review.
