Configure Signage Channel actions in Appspace to control how Multizone Signage Channels respond to events. Actions can trigger behavior for the channel, media zones, or system targets based on selected events and conditions.

Prerequisites
- You must be a Publisher for the selected location, channel, or channel group, or have another role that allows you to manage channel settings.
- Create a Multizone Signage Channel before configuring actions.
- Review the layouts and zones in the channel so you know which event, target, and method to use for each action.
Configure an Action
Use the Actions tab to configure behavior that runs when a supported event occurs.
- Select Channels from the Appspace menu.
- Open the Multizone Signage Channel.
- Select the Actions tab.
- Click + Add.
The New Action panel appears.
- Select the action event from the Event menu.
- Select the action target from the Target field.
- Select the action method from the Method menu.
- Configure any available Conditions.
- Enter any required method parameters.
- Click Save.
The action is saved and appears in the actions list.
Configure Action Conditions
Some events include conditions. Conditions define the requirements that must be met before the action runs.
- Select an event that supports conditions.
- Click + Add under Conditions.
- Select the condition logic from the Condition Logic menu.
- Select a condition field.
- Select a comparison operator.
- Enter the condition value.
The action runs only when the configured condition requirements are met.

Select a Target and Method
The selected Target determines which methods are available. Use methods to define what the action does when the event and conditions are met.
