These release notes provide information on new features, enhancements, resolved escalations, and bug fixes completed in every major, minor, and patch release of the AI Generate card, which is also an Appspace supported card.

 

Important

For each release, the updates are pushed to the card template in the Library. Cards created prior to the latest release will not receive the latest updates. To get the latest feature or bug fix for this card, the card must be recreated with the latest template.

Features Description

Advanced Design Tools

 

The Generate Card 1.5.0 release introduces a professional-grade design suite that significantly enhances how users create and customize messaging content. This update provides deeper control over text styling, image manipulation, and element layering to ensure high-impact visual communication within Appspace.

Note

These features require Appspace platform version 2601.1.0 or higher. Access is currently controlled via a feature flag; please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request enablement for this Limited Release.

 

Key Highlights

  • Expanded Design Capabilities: A new set of feature-flagged tools enables advanced text and image manipulation directly within the card editor.

  • Enhanced Text Styling: Users can add, move, and resize text elements on the canvas, with a new double-click toolbar supporting bold, italic, underline, list formatting, and alignment.

  • AI-Powered Image Generation: Integrated AI prompts allow users to generate or edit on-brand visuals without leaving the design workflow.

  • Dynamic Image Management: Visual layouts are more flexible with the ability to add, reposition, and replace image elements instantly.

  • Layer & Consistency Controls: New Z-index management allows for precise stacking of elements, while theme-level layer restrictions ensure brand consistency by locking specific content.

 

 

Maintenance Releases

 

  • CANC-110 - Unable to update the position or size of a Text Component after editing its content in a generated card template.

  • CANC-113 - Unable to display the Loading Shimmer animation when the Generate Card is loading the image.

  • CANC-115 - Unable to display the AI-generated image in full screen for Generate Card when using the media split layout, as unintended margins are applied around the image.

  • CANC-122 - The Spotlight and Grid layouts are showing incorrect design for Generate Card, as both layouts render with wrong styling and the Spotlight image is not rounded as expected.

  • CANC-128 - The global brand system font is not showing correctly for new text elements in Generate Card when using a global brand header font such as Poppins Medium.

  • AE-13731 - Editing an AI-generated card in Firefox intermittently displays a black screen with no edit option.
